With excellent compressive strength, high toughness and abrasion resistance ratio (Los Angeles test, ASTM C-131), our coarse gravel is one of the best available on the market saving you volume as well as weight and consequently money. |
| Road Base & Sub-base mix Unlike in most other quarries, our road base mix is an integral product of the crushing process and not a by-product of the pre-sorting screen. The result is a product free of any clay and organic material admixture. It is non-plastic (Atterberg ASTM D-4318) and its granulometry within the ΠΤΠ 150 and ΠΤΠ 155 envelopes in conformity with national road construction regulations. Additionally, our quarry can adapt the mixture’s granulometry and produce a tailor-made product corresponding exactly to the needs of your project. |

Gravel 
Because the needs in road construction and especially asphalt are very specific, our quarry is producing certified gravel exclusively for use in road construction. It is crushed three times and screened at least four, and the parasitic filler is almost completely removed. The granulometry is consistent with national road construction regulations, and slightly differs from the granulometry of the gravel destined for concrete. |
