Latodomiki Keas was founded in 1997 when extensive studies where carried out in order to determine the quantity, quality and suitability of the limestone reserves to be exploited. Once these studies where conclusive, a feasibility study was undertaken and a final business plan was set up for the exploitation. Finally, the initial phase of the project was completed with the purchase of the land, and the construction of the port facilities for the exportation of the quarry’s products.
The shareholders as well as the staff gradually recruited to give life to the project were carefully chosen and among them carry decades of experience in quarrying and mineral exploitation.
